Where the Red Fern Grows
In this wonderful story of a boy growing up, the main character, does everything he can to raise enough money to buy a pair of coon hounds. He hunts for days and nights and learns many things about Racoons. There are many emotional parts to this book and if you don't mind crying you'll love to by this book.
